Some of us are always waiting for the other shoe to drop.
Something good happens and instead of enjoying it, we think, “Okay…what’s about to go wrong?”
A great opportunity comes and our first thought is, “Yeah, but what’s the catch?”
We say we want MORE—but when more actually shows up, we question it, overthink it, or talk ourselves out of it.
That’s where self-sabotage can show up.
When you've experienced prolonged stress or difficult experiences, your nervous system can become accustomed to being on high alert. So much so that peace can feel suspicious. Good news can feel temporary. And new opportunities can feel unsafe simply because they're unfamiliar.
But everything good that happens to you does not have to be followed by something bad.
You don't have to create a problem because there isn't one.
And you don't have to reject an opportunity just because you're afraid of what might happen.
Sometimes growth looks like teaching yourself:
I can experience something good without anticipating something bad.
I can receive an opportunity without immediately searching for the catch.
I can make a decision based on where I'm going instead of what I've survived.
Pay attention to yourself this week.
When something good happens, what is your first thought?
That thought may show you exactly where the work begins. 🤎
Give God room to BLESS you.
Have childlike wonder when it comes to believing God will prosper you, uplift you, and keep you safe. Safe from the fear of failure. You will fail, but you will also succeed.
Please remember this as you run your businesses and achieve your goals.
Failure is a teacher of what NOT to do--not a measure of WHO you are.
See you at the top.
Dree 🤎

It's time to move on what God said at the speed He told you to do it.
Not tomorrow, not next week--but NOW.
The time is now.
You are ready.
Even if you don't feel ready..who's to say what "ready" feels like.
A decade ago every big thing I've did in my life--I was forced into it.
I don't do that anymore. Now when God gives me a mission--I step gracefully into it and tackle it head on.
There is a sense of power that comes with being able to obey God at the drop of a dime. When He says move you move. When He says stop, you're done with that--you stop.
It shows God that you can be trusted to do what He says. Which means He can trust you with more.
So do the things He called you to do.
Stop doing the things, the relationships. and the habits He told you to stop or leave behind.
This is you now season, your next season, and your best season--but only if you trust Him.
Obedience is better than sacrifice.
